DEC TK70 DLT tape drive by inittab 2002-06-17 23:51:52
48 track wide tape, in a square 4 inch cartridge, 1.25 inch deep.
It was a nice hand-full of data (only 340Meg, that was lots 1984)
When the case slid in the tape drive, it reached in the corner,
and grabbed the end of the tape. Then it pulled it out, sort of
like a carpenter's tape measure. The other spindle was built in
the drive itself, so there was only one spindle in the tape.

They're not used much today, but I've always kinda liked em.
