It's my Chinese wife's monthly salary (she has an average job in sales - yes I married a female Steff!!).
As a foreign teacher I do considerably better. In fact when you take the cost-of-living over here into account I'm putting more into the bank monthly (in direct conversion terms) than I could ever hope to in Australia on a teacher's salary!

If anyone wants to try teaching in China, feel free to mail me to discuss. It has great highs and deep lows and is an intertesting experience.
