yes, it is true that many types of restaurants (not just the fast-food joints) have altered our ideas about what constitutes a normal, healthy 'portion'.... consider the steak joints that advertise colossal steaks (usually about 2-3 kg or 4-6 pounds)....
the hook is, if you can actually eat the whole thing in one sitting, the meal is FREE!!!!!
then we also have the all-you-can-eat buffets/smorgasbords .... I usually eat WAAAAAAAY too much, because "I want to get my money's worth"
and if you think MikkeeeDeee's is bad -- have you ever seen Major's? They serve burgers that could feed a family of four! |
