| that the least prestigious/desirable jobs manage to have the most excruciating interviews??? OI! I've been to 4 interviews in a week for psych placements, and the two that came most highly reccomended basically told me about the site, the clients, at most asked me what I thought of a few "typical" cases - mostly it was - what do you need to know about us? The two I was going to mostly to be sure I'd have somewhere to go ask difficult questions like "what is therapy - sum it up in one sentence" and the vage annoying stuff like "what are your strengths and weaknesses" (and of course want more than one or two responses for each!) or make me spend a good 45 minutes picking apart a past therapy case in excruciating detail. :) Oh yeah, and the highly reccomended sites also accepted me on the spot, the 2 annoying ones are making me wait. *sigh* </major whine> :) oh well, their loss... |
