COAX questions. by pecosdave2002-06-17 12:19:33
slightly off topic, but relevent nonetheless by jkoce 2002-06-17 16:28:15
Hi...

I have cable modem service through AT&T. While I don't subscribe to any TV service, the signal is still sent. I get about 50 free channels this way (like basic cable).

Here's my problem...Recently I have to keep resetting my cable modem. The LED's still say it is connected, but I can't connect to the internet. I have a cable/dsl router from linksys and a hub and WAP connected all on the same network.

Any ideas on why it keeps losing it's connection?
Signal loss due to the tv/modem split? (it has worked fine before, i didn't change anything)

Or, a problem with the cable router? (it still pings when the WAN is down)
