For about $8. Story line is - humainty has wiped itself out with the use of bilogical weapons. The only survivors are a new 'species' of humanity. As a group these new humans are highly intellegent, physically well coordinated, and immune to all 'human' disease. The story focuses on a rather precocious member of this new species. The first half of the book is her background and search for the other survivors, the last half she finds them, they are in trouble from a 'human' group of survivors in the USSR who plan on dropping a very large bomb on them from space.
