Since there isn't any specified time limit that we measure how many times we wish harm upon another between?
Anyways I'm sure the number of times I've wished harm upon others has increased exponentially yearly. When I was little I wished harm on almost nobody. Then there was one, two, three and slowly I started. The first three have passed on if memory serves me. They were evil people in their younger days and I do believe that Karma finally caught them*. I seem to always meet the "cream of the crop" when it comes to idiots and just about every single one of them has some way of making my life more miserable. Right now I'm at about, oh I'd say a couple dozen wishes a day on average.
Who knows, by the time I'm 22 I'll just snap and go fully insane. %)
*I do not mean this to say I am glad that Karma caught them, but merely to say that I do believe in such a thing. I hadn't seen these people in quite a long time when I heard of their passing and I was saddened by it. After all they could have grown into a completely different person since the last time I had interacted with them directly and I do not believe that people are a static quantity. Anyways it may be coldhearted to say that I believe Karma caught them, but I still feel sorry for them and worry about the day that Karma may catch me. After all I was like them at one point in my life, I just hope I changed for the better soon enough. |
