I doubt he was punished enough. Even if he wasn't one of the cases silently swept under the rug, he probably got out before the drug dealer he bunked with. I have no sympathy for someone like that, sorry. In my opinion, short of hanging (probably a bad topic to mention in a catholic thread) or life imprisonment, no punishment is enough.
If it was my nephew or neice (no kids of my own), I wouldn't be happy with anything but death. He'd probably be lucky to make it to court.
Like I said, this is one situation where I don't believe in forgiveness.
I think I had better stop posting now, this is one topic where I am not resonable, and I'll just make enemies if I keep it up.
