That was intended as commentary, not an attack.

First, I didn't mean to imply that catholics wouldn't help people just because they aren't the same faith.
Second, (and third) yes, that's where I got the figure. I looked back and noted that you said 'poor'..my apologies.

I understand about the admittance and the relics. I didn't think you were including their real estate in that estimate. I know that the Arch-Diocese in Portland owns a good chunk of the real estate in my little town. That's where the city leases the school grounds from. I thought you meant Art. I'm glad to hear that they share all the treasures throughout their churches.

My last point was meant to underscore that it was simply commentary, and that I thought there were more important issues to be dealt with than what the Church did with it's funds(such as the pedophile policy (Not the individual cases.))
I never suggested that they NOT do charitable works.
