Somtething doesn't add up here. On one side: 1) object was 3 feet in diameter 2) weighed several hundred pounds => would have density slightly greater than that of water => would sink On the other side: 1) there is what appears as a water line in the middle 2) it washed up there is a contradiction somewhere.
