Was running ethereal for something else (was being my usual, overly curious self) and lo and behold, I discovered zonealarm in there. The other thing that caused me to drop it was that it automatically refused pings (really bad when it comes to some online games), so I went searching and found SPF and promptly forced it to accept pings (there's some midly interesting stf you can do with it's advanced rules feature)
