remove the tape	by CrazySteve	2002-06-16 00:56:01
then clean the heatsink with acetone or some other chemical you're not supposed to use to clean. the thermal tape does leave an adhesive residue on whatever you peeled it off of, so it does need to be cleaned. then add a thin layer of grease on the cpu core and the center of the heatsink (not a lot, just enough) and clamp it on.
