Easy! Ditch Red Hat and use Gentoo by Eric2002-06-15 16:44:20
I am of two minds about that by Schol-R-LEA;22002-06-15 21:21:31
I did not mean to come accross that by Eric 2002-06-16 11:01:01
Trust me I did not mean to come across that way... But if want to learn gentoo is the best way and is the easiest way to build your system/server from scratch, and you will have the benefit of having a fully customized system for your cpu and chipset. I also know a number of people who dont even know any commands for linux and have installed it.

The package management "Portage" is 100X better for a number of reasons, one reason is just for the simple fact the are not packages.

Again sorry fir coming off that way, I thought if you knew about reiserfs you knew a bit more than most.

If I ever have to install a server a client wants linux apache etc... I use gentoo now :) Because I know exactly whats in it.
