I'll fly around the map (if it's Tribes 2), land on a high place, snipe the current wave of attackers (dodging when they look at me with their spinfusors), then fly somewhere else. When I get bored with that, I'll grab a juggernaut armour, a spinfusor, plasma gun, fusion mortar and ELF gun and get 'em on their own terms.
I hardly snipe in Q3A, though. No, the way to go here is the rocket launcher. Anticipate their movements, fire the rockets where they can't dodge, machine gun the ones who come a bit too close, and keep moving. Wonderful. |
