Well after work last night I sat down to install BeOS 5.0 (finally) onto Ma Petite's old computer. Install went pretty smoothly (had a bump when I realized I'd forgotten to plug the IDE cable back into the CD-ROM drive - but other than that the installation went great. Discovered 2 problems once I finished, neither a major problem really just annoying: neither the graphics card nor the ethernet card were supported. I could live with crappy graphics (its a crappy monitor and cheap video card anyhow) but not having a network connection is more annoying. So I found a webpage with supported hardware and a little later today I'll be off to find some cards (NIC and video) which are a bit more compatible with BeOS. (even in black&white it looks nice tho :)
