What is unusual for me might be extremely common (or usual) for someone else.
Thus, the definition of an unusual place must be of a place I have been to, where fewer people have been than any other place I have been to.
The first places that come to mind are some of the wilder parts of Montana.
However, by expanding the definition of place to include all the different physical meanings, I can then say; The arms of my SO. Which narrows it down considerably.
Expanding that definition to include psychological places, then most everywhere I have been in my life has been a fairly unique, and thus, unusual place.
My current location, for instance, (stressed about an upcoming loan, and about my job, while worrying about the future of a young man living with us, and his particular problems, as well as my daughter's newest boyfriend, and my son's current state of mind, and whether or not I should begin a small business of my own, and on and on,) create a fairly unique set of conditions, and thus a fairly unique 'place'.
So, bearing these things in mind, I am currently IN the most unusual place I have ever been.
Or did you mean bizarre? Well, I know this club...
Now, what was your point again?
