and yet, it sounds so riiight...
I'm so tired of spam/chain mailings I've lost patience... I had to tell this little old lady to please not send me anymore mail unless it's about herself, that I have so little time that I no longer read forwarded e-mails (true!), and that forwarding all those e-mails slows down the internet. I haven't heard from her since, and while not having my mailbox fill up with junk is really nice, I also feel guilty because it seemed that these mailings were her joy in life.
Meanwhile, my mother REFUSES to get e-mail because she's afraid she'll be spammed and sent chain letters, and we really could do better if Mom was using modern communication methods.
