I have a few things to say. First, there are many politicians on both side of the aisle who laud their self-righteous moral superiority, but are really just dirty old men. While their actions are unethical, they are not illegal. However, sometimes a politician does do something illegal as a result of the unethical actions (such as committing perjury), and in such a case, they should prosecuted and forced to step down.
In this specific case, Barr deserves whatever he gets. However, If the law was broken by the three defendants, they also need to receive their just rewards. |
