      Ah, Dewy Memories! by ag_wyvern 2002-06-14 13:22:50
So, I'm waiting at the local convenience store (more of a hole-in-the-wall than anything else) waiting for my bundles of the daily paper to be dropped at the corner for me to do my deliveries (this is 25 years ago, mind you). Anyway, it's 4pm on a nasty hot day and I purchase a 750ml bottle (glass - ah, the memories) of that nectar called Mountain Dew. As I sit there drinking the Dew and popping Smarties (for you non-Canadians, Smarties are candy-covered chocolate pieces similiar in appearance to plain M&M's) when I get a brainstorm (ouch). What, I say, What would happen if I put my Smarties *inside* my Mountain Dew.

Plop, Plop, Plop.
Swirl, Swirl, Swirl.
Decay Coating, Decay, Decay.

Upend bottle and drink contents, including some of the Smarties. Crunchy Dew! Yum.

Oh no, sludge pieces on the bottom of the bottle! Shake, shake, dislodge, pour into mouth. Mmmmmmm..... sludge.

Memories.
