she reacted about the same to my telling her they aren't really going to pay you. It was though apprently forwarded based on AT&T. There probably are a few varients of that letter going around. Some claim that they will give x amount to a charity for every letter forwarded and others claiming they'll send them a cheque. People seem clueless to the fact that the letters they are chainmailing aren't being traced to give them their money, contain nothing useful that would be of use to the company that would supposedly pay for forwarding it, and that how are they going to know their info to send them money? My sister probably like many people who are less tech literate always claims "my friends sent it to me so it must be true they check things and they'd not send me bad stuff." Then she of course refuses to listen... luckily though I don't have to deal with my sister anymore as I don't talk to her.<shrug>
