| Based on all available scientific data (the best information we have so far about the "reality" you're talking about), the position of a particle at any given moment is randomly determined based on it's wave function. No matter what Einstein said, on a sub-atomic scale, God does play dice.
Oh, and chaos does not always equal disorder. It can also mean the combination of an arbitrary number of small effects to generate a larger effect via a system that is too complex to model or predict with much accuracy. The classic butterfly flapping its wings in Italy setting off a hurricane in the Carolinas is a perfect example. The small things interact with other small things, and gradually get magnified into huge things. |
