a person was trying to directly connet to my yahoo account. It left emails that had subject: [none] and nothing in the body (or sometimes just "quit" in it). Showing all headders showed three isp's. All high speed access and 2 were in the UK and one in france. I complained to the UK ones and low and behold the spam slowed right down... didn't bother on the french one as I was having problems translating into french.(yes I speak some french though not alot, but ours is diffrent than what is used in France) Anyways I complained to yahoo that someone had been appearing to connect to my account and they simply said I should not bother with it anymore and just set up a new one. Which I did. Though I still check the old incase people I used to talk to ever send anything... Anyways after the french dsl connect attempt the spam came back. I think I know who the person is thats trying stuff and if I'm right I'm suprised they've not given up by now. But anyways... that was on my old email account. The spam I pasted above is off my new one. But I basically got the impression they don't particularly care on most things. I once had to complain when this guy was harassing people in yahoo message groups too. He was playing with their heads about having cancer and trying to cram some cure down their throats.(his special suppliments and diet... he was very agressive and upsetting to many there) Many of us just left the group because he'd not leave and nothing was done.(it was a public group) So later I briefly had a private/invisible one on cancer that he'd not be able to see. Anyways if your being harassed or spammed on yahoo by someone from yahoo they don't do much. Hotmail oddly and bigfoot though did seem to nail that one guy.(the one harassing people in the cancer chat as he was spamming us along with direct personal harassment in the message area)
