It mystifies me, I mean, they're basically trying to sell you the evil spam tools... so why pretend it's a "you signed up for this" thing? You're allready within the Dark Lord's domain once you've decided to peddle spam-ware, so why not just be upfront? Anyone actually interested in the service being sold there will be wise to the workings of spam anyways, and so not fooled by the "This email is NEVER sent unsolicited" garbage.
Most of my spam* is the usual boring drek though. You know, Amazing Investment Opportunities and Stock Options from companies run by nubile co-eds selling ALL-NATURAL HERBAL penis-enhancement products. Just what I need. *yawn*
*interestingly, I manage to get next to no spam on my hotmail account, I only get it on my old gillian@nospam.thefragile.com address. |
