| There are two basic types of gods. |

As far as I am concerned, anyway.
1) the all powerful thingies.
2) the pretty doggone powerful thingies.
Now, #1 types are often given credit for creating existence, the universe, and fried chicken.
#2 types are usually just blamed for bad weather, lawyers, and unwanted pregnancies.
Quite often, the #1 types like to say that they are the ONLY gods in existence, and anyone who believes otherwise is a liar and a punching bag (or one of those shooting targets, depending on your heathen-bashing weapon of choice).
The #2 types usually don't care if you _believe_ in other #2 types, but they prefer it if you only worship one of them. These are the ones who are prone to fits of jealousy and curious pubic rashes.
I do not actually believe in either type. You seem to believe in the type 2, or some mamby pamby type 1 that is so pathetic it can't seem to convince humans it is the only god in existence. I'm not sure why you would do that, but that's your problem.
There is no "underlying Chaos". Your refusal to accept or even think about that is the crux of our disagreement, I think. At the most basic levels (possibly atomic and smaller), things are incredibly well-organized. Calling an electron "chaotic" is just silly. Putting them together and watching their behavior, an omniscient being would most likely be completely unsurprised at how perfectly regular they behave. No such thing as chaos.
Too bad we are not omniscient. |
