That young people, as myself, don't appreciate true, immortal values (try to).

I had to read Anna Karenina and, at first, it was quite repulsive. But after i got into it a bit i found it genious. Best book i've ever read.

Young *need* to read. They *need* to be aware of other worlds. If i was not forced to read that book i would have never read it. Never. What pity would it be.
If they don't like it they'll forget most of it rather quickly. But there is no one student who can't personalize with any one of noumerous literal charaters or find any of noumerous of literal scenes/plots amusing/genious/worth referencing.
