Setting up a mail server by LeiraHoward 2002-06-13 14:29:41
I'm at w**k, and I've been dumped into the water and basically get to sink or swim. Until this week, the only linux I had used was very basic command line (print, copy, create directories, and use vim and g++). I've suddenly been thrown into the wonderful world of installation. The Linux install itself wasn't that bad. Even though I had some error messages, etc, while I was booting it, I managed to get them fixed.

Now, I've been told to try out some new software, SquirrelMail and Cyrus. And set up a mail server from scratch. Well, by the time I am done with this job, I'll have learned a lot, I guess. Lucky for me, I tend to pick up new things quickly.

Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you wonderful UFies happened to know of any really good sites for explaining the complexities of installation in Linux, etc. Yes, I know I could (and have) done searches in google, but there's so much that comes up there, it would be nice to hear a recommendation. You can drop them off in my diary under my current TLP, if you want. Thanks!
