exactly who "is" allowed to make first post anyway by bbr2002-06-13 00:06:37
That a nice philosophical question. by Naruki 2002-06-13 08:30:17
I have often wondered the same thing. nin_man had a good point about it, up until he went all preacher_man - what a putz. ;-P

Some people (whose opinions on this matter mean Jack Squat to me) find it to be "rude and offensive". BFD.

Some moderators (whose rulings mean everything to me) say it is not to be tolerated.

Truth is, FP's are a very geeky contest (which explains nin_man's dislike of them, anyway). Any self-professed geek who moans about them is really an ignorant hypocrite, as I see it.

But my opinion on the matter really means very little in light of the fact that YOU MUST NOT DO IT.

If you do, you will be moderated. If you give the moderators the idea that you don't care, you will be disabled.

Now, who can make the first non-automated post? Anyone that has something meaningful to say. Good luck defining "meaningful", by the way. ;-)
