Dickens yeah! by breezeblock 2002-06-13 08:22:39
But we were forced to read Charlotte Brontes "Jane Ayre" What a pile of poo that was! Also tempered by such "classics" as "Duncton wood" (a poor watership down clone done with moles) and "The Silver Crown" (You needed LSD to understand it). On the upside tho' we read "Day of the Triffids", "The Day after tomorrow" (seriously got me into RA Heinlein that one did), "Kes" and "A Ship Must Die" so school wasnt all bad!
