It's an excellent work. But it's still fun to poke fun at the size. ;) I had some Russian courses in college, and the professor had a copy of W&P in Russian. He said that when they changed the Russian grammar to omit tyordisnaks (sp?) (a small character that modifies the pronunciation of consonants), they took over 300 pages out of the book. That's more pages than many people will bother to read in a book. Sad statement, really....
