I've seen what you seem to commonly wear and I don't think going with a basic suit is that horrible of a diffrence.

For those that don't know DaNutBall is often in polo shirts and slacks. Which might be ok once he's hired depending on the dept. The admins in the offices I worked in didn't all wear suites and ties often it was only the business owner or the higher execs.(though yea some jobs require all employees to wear suits)

Though ya know Chris you could get dress shirts that aren't supposed to have a tie and are loose fitting at the neck. Or I think some mens stores have them with diffrent neck sizes if you're feeling choked by the average collar.

/me had to wear suits all the time at 2 diffrent jobs. Some I had bolo ties for, others were button all the way up shirts, and some v neck. Eventually you just get used to them.
