I've been perl hacking on a mon monitor (pop3) The same code that made it quit prematurely if it couldn't ping (this is what we want, so we don't get thousands of complaints for one server going down!) didn't work in this one, but it was fine in all the others I finally fixed it though, by altering the comparisions, then flipping the logic, rinse lather repeat :) Now, where'd that popcorn go...
