Things are going great so far. Sometimes when you get a group together, it can be tough to reach a consensus on what everyone wants to do, but that certainly hasn't been a problem today. My proposal to browse a few Internet sites was met with unanimous agreement by myself, and I had nothing but enthusiasm for my next plan, which was to send a few e-mails and play a couple Shockwave games. Later, somebody (I think it was me) suggested bringing up the C=64 emulator and playing a round or two of tournament level M.U.L.E., and I was all for it. And best of all, not a single one of the single one attendee at today's meet has even mentioned that I really should be working right now instead of just fooling around, and I don't think I'm going to.
I'm definitely making plans to invite me back again for another UFie meet sometime soon. I've really enjoyed hanging out with me. |
