Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:23:33
  M$ makes source code public! (n/t) by Apfel2002-06-12 10:56:32
    Article! by Apfel 2002-06-12 10:57:56
Today M$ anounced that they are planning on making their source
public. In an interview Bill Gates said:"I think the open source
idea is a good idea and we should contribute as much as we can!".
M$ has also dropped their .NET plan and will be making their
operating systems and the source code available for download.
Currently the programmers at M$ are coding a Linux based system
which integrates the well known and loved Desktop of their Windows
products. The kernel will also be rewritten to support current M$
products like M$-Office, Outlook and others.

When Bill Gates was asked why he chose to go open source he
replyed that he was tyred of being rich, powerful and mean and
wanted to do something good in his life for once! Witnesses saw
Bill Gates on the street handing out free copys of Windows XP
and Windows 2000.
