The reason I didn't apply for membership was because the benefits didn't make it worth it! After reading the appeal I have decided to become a member when I get paid. Can you imagine it. A newbie comes to the board, gets involved in the threads and then somebody posts a link to an archive cartoon or conversation which they can't access? they'll jump at membership, just to satisfy their own curiosity! _{maybe this is why I fix computers and don't sell 'em :o)}
