Question of the Week by Capt. X2002-06-12 00:21:32
Oh yeah, my lame idea... by Capt. X 2002-06-12 00:51:31
This may have been suggested already, but here it is anyway... I say set up a Paypal account for donations. Yep, a lot like Kickstart's. Only not exactly like his.

The UF donation account should be set up so that it accepts money in $1 increments. Every $1 contributed counts as an entry into a drawing, and once a month, a name is randomly pulled from the list and the lucky winner gets cool swag. This adds a little more incentive to give, and obviously, you can enter as many times as you want.

For the prizes, I suggest original artwork. It's easy to ship, easy for Illiad to produce, and the fans would eat it up. Every now and again, even niftier stuff could be offered, like one-of-a-kind Crud Puppy dolls or lifesize Dust Puppies, preferably autographed, but personally I'd start smaller just to see how it pans out.
