| ...I have to say that I'm both astonished and touched that so many people have devoted so much time and effort to help save UF. We're still a long ways away from clearing the woods with subscriptions, but we've taken the first step. Additionally, I have a mittful of e-mails I have to respond to, and most of them have terrific ideas or salient points that will help us out in the long run. I'll compile the list and offer it up for discussion sometime tomorrow (I hope).
So, in short, please don't feel discouraged about thinking up solutions. With over a million readers, I'm sure there's a viable answer out there somewhere.
There's still a whole lot of work to do, but I must say I haven't felt this good about the possibilities for UF's future in a while. I suppose the appeal for help nudged a lot of people (myself included) out of complacency. |
