...You should only terminate the endpoints. Indeed you must, otherwise the signals reflection interferes with the signal itself. Terminating inbetween the two endpoints is not a good idea I think.

Making the last device the last on the cable is probably just a superstition I have, since after the first termination, nothing should go further. Of that I am not sure though, that's why I put my scsi cdrom at the end of the cable and terminated only that and the interface card itself.
