I know a few people with 5yr olds that can read and my son though mentally challanged (and also having language problems) could use a computer reasonably well at 4. Though on the risque comments that depends most probably wouldn't get some til 8 or 12. Btw I was able to read by 5 or 6 and I would of understood some of the risque comments due to some unfortunate stuff I suffered when small.(though not sure if I'd of known how to spell certain objectionable words but I had older siblings that found it amusing to spell them out/say them so I'd repeat it and get in trouble)
