...compared to a 10-nm hole. Most of those are measured in units, tens or hundreds of *microns* (um).

Water vapor might *pass through*, but it would be hard for it to condense *in* the holes, due to its polar covalent structure (which is responsible for "surface tension").

Stick the thing in a glass of hard water, then you might have a problem: it's eash for plastics to pick up an electrostatic charge, and then the minerals might "plate out" onto the surface.
