When the Manhattan project was tested in the SW US, the heat from the detonation did turn the sand into glass for some distance. Think about it... the 9th wonder of the world, the Sea of Glass. And all the peace and quiet... Sorry, but I'm sick and tired of being "Sensitive" and "PC". Obviously both sides of the Palestine/Israel and the India/Pakistan conflicts (among others, these are the two mentioned thus far) want the other side dead and wiped out. I say we do the PC "American" thing and try to please all of the people all of the time. <Grinchy Grin> -C
