In that case why are there any professional sports? If you are good at a sport and people want to watch you do it then why not get a part of the gate? they are coming to watch you perform after all. The problems come when it's taken to excess. I like football (soccer) but I havn't seen a live game for 6 months because the ticket prices are extortionate. I also like rugby union and until recently that was an amateur game. The money men are slowly but surely ruining that too!
