Financial idea for discussion. by Blackbyrd22002-06-10 22:48:44
My thoughts... by slayer 2002-06-10 23:02:42
Personally, I think the board is what gives UF it's sense of community and loyalty. I'm a member not because I don't like ads, but because I want the comic and this community to remain intact. If anything, we need people to jump into the forum, feel like they belong, and begin to feel that same sense of community. Then they will be all to willing to chip in whatever dosh they can to keep the comic afloat.

Have we learned nothing from cults? Bring in people who feel like no one understands them, give them unconditional love and understanding without asking anything in return, and then, when they feel like they finally have a home and a family, ask them to hand over all of their earthly possesions. It's all in the marketing.
