| ... when I read your announcement in today's cartoon. I thought User Friendly was going to last forever. It's been part of my morning routine for a few years now and it really adds something to my day. It's humor is obviously the one of a man with an ego of sensible proportions. I had the chance to meet you, and I asked you one question in the middle of an interview. This was when you paid a visit to The Gathering (Norway) in 1999. I must have had too little sleep, because I managed to ask you if «today's strip has anything to do with you visiting The Gathering?». This was the 1st of April. Of course, you answered «no». Doh! LANing makes one blind (and deaf and dumb).
I don't want to be the guy who assumes everybody else will pay. I hope you take every subscription as a token of appreciation, because that's exactly what it is. Keep on the good work. The world of comics wouldn't be the same without you!
