I try to. Unfortunately I usually read UF at work, coz the new cartoon comes out at 9am over here. At work most of the adds are filter ‘for security reason’ (You don’t want to know!!! Half a year ago I didn’t had Internet at my Workstation, we only had one isolated, extra secured Workstation, at the office for everybody in the team. )
Oh, and I signed up today for membership as well … shortly after posting the comment below.
If Illiad reads this, I want to apologize for my tone before, I didn’t wanted to offend him, I wanted to help and to support UF. And I was a bit pissed off to see the same mistake over an over again. If you want to gain the most money out of something like that, the trick is to find a sum as high as possible but still everybody is willing to spent. For example who wouldn’t pay 1,- $ to safe UF? (I guess at least 100.000 ppl, even a student! ) Who would pay 100,- $ to safe UF? ( maybe 1 or 2 ppl ?) … You need to try to find the highest possible sum most ppl are willing to pay and you will get the most money out of them.
It works, trust me. Why isn’t everybody making it that way? Most ppl calculate the ‘milk-girl-way’, I have now 1000 Members and got 10,-$ from each … that is 10.000$ … if I would have sold it for 15$ I would have made 5000$ more. (The same reason why ppl lose all the won money in the Casino.) They don’t see that these are the 5$ a student might have not bought the Membership coz for him this would be just the mental limit willing to spent.
