I get most of my stuff from the US over Canada. US and Canada are in a treading Union ... Canada and GB are in a free trading zone as well (historical reasons). GB is in the EU. There are lots of firms in GB who do nothing else then receive packages from Canada and put them into packages from GB and send them to the destination inside the EU. Okay, you have to pay 2 times for shipping, but no duty ... therefor much cheaper. Legal? Well it is not illegal.
