Pop-up ads are obnoxious. Shouldn't we let the membership drive do its thing before resorting to such irritating ickiness? Another consideration is for those of us who visit from work. Pop-ups show a lot more activity on your browser and the admins keep their eyes on that sort of thing. Some of us could get into trouble. I can get away with UF because there's a lot of good information I can glean from y'all. I don't need a whole bunch of history that I can't explain. That's my $0.02.
