I can tell if the person is new or not.
If they are, I politely tell them I am not interested and hang up.
But, for the more experienced ones...*evil laugh*
I'll do things like, "Oh thank goodness you called back. Look, I know things weren't so good last night. But if you give me another chance, I promise that I won't just fall right asleep on you. I know, I know, you don't blame me, but really, I was just really tired, not bored with you."
This is even more effective when the caller is also male.
