Illiad, way to go! by JPaganel 2002-06-10 10:39:03
Finally, some decent Russian in a web comic, and you're the one who did it.

I was reading the membership stuff today, and it occurred to me that perhaps if being ad-free seems not enough, there are things that could be benefits without too much cost to you or being too restrictive.

Archive search could easily be a member-only option. Most other webcomics I read (oops, did I just say that out loud?) don't have that feature at all. You could do a monthly members-only strip. Of course, there's always the holy grail - comment search.

Also, while I do realise creating new merchandise is an investment, I'd like to see more stuff. How about Dust Puppy/Erwin case badges? Maybe some bumper stickers? Roto-Router labels to be applied to cases? If you had quarter-sized buttons with characters' portraits, I'd buy the set. I don't wear polo shirts and I have a lot of regular shirts, so buying either one of those is out, but wearing a button would be great.

I'd really love to see a sheet of stickers of DP with various expressions. Just stick them anywhere.

Like I said, I'm just making suggestions. I don't know the actual mechanics of creating these things, but it seems to me like bumper stickers and case badges would be quite feasible.
