that I don't have to kill, I couldn't tell you what laws and where. I thought I remember they had hearings back in the '70s about the alleged scourge of subliminal advertising and decided that it was bad. I don't know if I hallucinated the whole thing or if it was real. I admit that I had a great deal of fun in the '70s that I don't remember all parts of. Anyone else is free to jump in with the actual scoop.

Just because a law is stupid doesn't mean it's not on the books somewhere. For example, there are still laws in some backwards state that say you have to stop your car and hide it if a horse gets scared. Let's not even go into the stupidity of laws that restrict consenting adults' activities in the privacy of their own homes.
