It couldn't be a language thing by Illiad 2002-06-10 07:47:42
This just in my mail:

Hi Illiad,

I'm one the many geeks that regular read UF but I have never joined the discussions like " Illiways, The Café at the end of the Ufiverse. " though I read thru some of them. I never had the idea to get involved, to get a name to be identified.

Why did you start to put your cartoons to the net years ago ? was that goal to make money, to overtake the world ? to sell banners and logins to make this a big company ?

If you require me to login, and pay a fee then count me out .

Its sad after years of funny cartoons, but so goes life. good bye

Maybe it was a language thing -- but most Deutschlanders I know speak English very well. I can only assume he didn't read the appeal very carefully. The other option is too astonishing to believe.
